The Ergobaby Four Position 360 Baby Carrier Has my Back ( Plus Size Review)

The Ergobaby Four Position 360 Baby Carrier has my back. No pun intended. I never used a baby carrier after my first two pregnancies. My husband would always carry the kids in a baby carrier when they were small. Carriers would always hurt my neck and my back. Well, at least the ones that I have tried. I was really surprised as a plus sized girl (I'm a size 18/20 btw) how comfortable the ergobaby 360  carrier was for me.

I can really feel the support from the ergobaby 360 carrier. There is absolutely no pressure on my neck from the carrier. The shoulder straps are padded and very comfortable. It fits comfortably around my waist with room to spare (about 2-4 inches) and I feel no weight in my lower back when I carry my baby girl as well. Gotta love the wide Velcro waistband. These things are really important to me in a baby carrier.

I really love how you can carry your baby in four different positions. Just make sure that your baby is in the proper age and stage of the position that you are going to carry him/her. EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT. We made the mistake of putting our baby in the carrier when our little girl was two months and under 12 pounds. We didn't read the instructions...DUH! We missed the part that mentioned that we needed the infant insert in order for us to use the carrier. She was too small to use the carrier at that stage without the insert.
Now that she is a little bit bigger and a few weeks older we are fully enjoying the carrier (without the insert) whenever we're out and about running errands, going on longs walks, or just because. HA! Did I say "we"? Oh yes I did! My husband wears it too! I wish I had a picture of him wearing the carrier. I'll have to post a picture of him wearing the carrier in a future post. Nothing sexy like seeing a man wear a baby carrier. Seriously. HOT.
The baby carrier is also designed so that you can wear it high or low for those mommas that had a c-section. Ergobaby thought of EVERYTHING! The most important part of the carrier? My baby girl is comfortable in it. It has a sleeping hood for support and sun protection and an ergonomic adjustable seat. She's a happy girl. We're both happy girls.
I can't wait to put my baby girl in a front/outward position. She isn't ready for that yet. I read the directions. LOL. Just remember: (It's really a reminder to myself) The outward position is not meant to be used for a long duration of time and only when the baby is awake. Can you imagine? The baby's head dangling forward. No way. Turn your baby around so they're comfortable, especially when they are over-stimulated or sleepy. Oooh, I'm also excited to use it on my hip. I'm just really enjoying the bond that I get using a baby carrier. I'm not going to have anymore babies so this is it! Loving every moment of it!

Overall, ergobaby 360 is a great item to add to your baby collection. It is plus size friendly, mom and dad friendly, neck and back friendly, and baby friendly. I feel so friendly right now....(yeah I'm cheesy).

BTW: Ergobaby 360 will be available to purchase on April 12! Check out their website for more info.!

Have you ever tried any products from ergobaby? What do you think? Did I miss anything? Have you tried any other carriers that are comfortable and plus size friendly? What do you like most about the ergobaby 360?

I want to give a shoutout to Baby Bloggy Boot Camp by theSitsgirls and ergobaby for allowing me to try the ergobaby 360, the ergobaby swaddler, and the ergobaby wrap.  (Each product needs a review of it's own or you'll see me post about them on my social media sites! I love them all.) I never thought that a comfortable carrier like this existed. The ergobaby wraps are to die for too! ESPECIALLY FOR PLUS SIZED GALS LIKE MYSELF.

  1. Just bought this, as a plus sized mom (size 18 with H-cups), I can't get the back strap to be between my shoulder blades, it's at the base of my neck when I'm carrying my baby in the front. Did you find the same thing?

    1. So sorry about the late response. I had to leave for a while. Did you ever fix that issue? I didn't notice that. I think I just had to keep readjusting the straps and my husband would help lift her up while strapped on me until it felt comfortable on me. I think that they also have extensions. I'm a A-B cup. LOL. Wish "the girls" were bigger. But that could also help lower the straps. But, I'm sure it's probably too late. I will check back more often from now on.....

    2. Anonymous ,Try wearing your baby a little higher if it's possible for you, waistband more on your waist than the hips, and remember to put the back strap as low as possible for you.I have e -cups and I found this helpful
