Scarsdale Diet: Day One (Continued)

Wow. Two days to do a diet report for day one.I'm going to have to learn how to squeeze this into one day. Sometimes it gets hard because of the kids. Life never gets dull over here that's for sure. LOL. It took me a few hours just to do one blog yesterday. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE BLOGGING!! It just gets frustrating when I have to get on and off of the computer so I can attend to the kids.

I've put my weight loss tracker on top of my blog so that you can see how much weight I need to lose. 89lbs.!! I have a LONG ROAD ahead of me...

I'm REALLY embarrassed to type in my actual weight. Maybe I'll gain the confidence to post my actual weight later.

Here are my initial measurements!! I'd rather give out my measurements oddly enough...LOL.

Right and Left Upper Arm: 15 inches

Chest: 48 inches

Waist: 51 inches

Hips: 52 1/2 inches

Right and Left Thigh: 28 inches

Let's talk about last nights dinner!!

DINNER: Fish and shellfish lean, any kind. Mixed salad with the vegetables you want. 1 slice of protein bread, toasted bread or toast. Seasonal fruit. Coffee / tea.

Actual Dinner: I had Lemon Garlic Tilapia with whole grain rice and one cup of diet soda.
Explanation: I never had salad because the kids were in a rush to eat. So I gave them the corn I had cooked earlier that day along with their meal. I wasn't feeling corn (again). Instead of bread, I replaced it with whole grain rice based on what I thought a portion of bread would be.

Later on that night I ate an apple for the fruit portion of my dinner. The soda was an accident. LOL. I never realized that it hadn't mentioned soda on the actual menu. Whoops!!

Oh, almost forgot about the fish!!

I made tilapia. I sprinkled garlic salt, garlic powder, and added a slice of lemon to my fish. I also added one teaspoon of butter to my fish. I know CHEATING RIGHT? I don't know another way of cooking fish...I don't like what olive oil does to the taste of fish. Yuck! I then wrapped two pieces of fish with foil and left it in my oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. It came out GOOD!! I kept the butter minimal and come on!! It's fish!! You can't get healthier than that!!

IMPORTANT!! DON'T FORGET TO DRINK WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY!! Preferably 8 oz. of water before and after breakfast, before and after lunch, and before and after dinner. It will help keep you from getting super hungry!! You can also munch on carrots and celery sticks throughout the day. I know it can get boring, but it will help with hunger.

Good Luck!!
