I'm Going to Miss Jeremy's School

One of the things that drew us to Redlands are the schools. They have really good programs out here for Jeremy and I've been really impressed on how well the staff have worked with him. One of my biggest worries about moving away is Jeremy. I hope that the move does not affect his education and that he has REALLY good and patient teachers working with him when we move away to our new house. I had a really BAD experience before we had moved out to Redlands with his previous teacher. It was terrible!! The teacher refused to work with Jeremy on advancing him. She basically gave up and told me that he would have to repeat kindergarten again because he was not mature enough to handle kindergarten.

The funny thing is that as soon as we moved out to Redlands, he did better in school and he passed to first grade!! He had the best teacher when we moved away from the witch. LOL!! I've never not liked someone as much as I disliked his previous kindergarten teacher. No one should ever teach children when they feel like they have to give up on a child.

His school does not celebrate Halloween, but once a year they have a story book parade. They are suppose to dress up as a character based on the book that they bring and read. I love the activities that they do with the kids.

Patience is definitely key when dealing with children. I'm not a "perfect" parent, but even on my most frustrating days I have to keep reminding myself to not give up and just be patient. I'm going to miss his school....
