I can't go into details because it would make a LONG BORING blog post. What I can do is make a list of some of things that we're currently working on....
- Our Health- My family is on a mission to get healthy. When I hurt my back, I stopped going to the gym. I'm struggling to find a routine again, but I know that I will. The good news is that I maintained my weight and I've lost another pound just by changing my diet. My hubby took a break from MMA, but he's working on getting back into it soon. Our oldest son was
kind ofdiagnosed with Type II Diabetes. I could go into details about it, but I won't (yet). The doctor said that she could technically diagnose him with diabetes, but she said that if we work on his diet and exercise she will retest him in three months. He tests in January. We've managed to change the way we ALL EAT and I'm happy to announce that he's lost six pounds and he has been a trooper about eating healthy. I'm so proud of him. I'm actually proud of all of us. We've made so many changes, but I plan on doing a post about all of this soon.
- Work- After taking more than one year off from work. I'm finally going back! It's been fun staying home with the kids, but I really need to use my nursing skills that I took a nice student loan out for a few years back. LOL. It will only be part-time. I'm struggling going back to work because I will be working nights, but it's a sacrifice that I have to make in order to avoid child care costs, etc....blah. blah. blah. I'm excited to get back out there....a little nervous too. I start tonight! I hope to squeeze in a nap before I go to work. Wish me luck!
